SerenityStuff.com is fairly focused on merchandise for sale, but there are a lot of other handy browncoat sites out there. This isn’t close to a comprehensive list and I apologize for all the worthy sites I left out, but these are where I go most often.

Official/semi-official sites

Serenity movie site - The official site for the movie. Lots of downloads and pretty graphics. It officially went down Jan. 3, and then came back up for a short time, and then got replaced with a placeholder thank you message, and is currently back up (without the forums). Go check it out while you can.
There are also international official sites such as Serenity OZ (Australia) and the UK site.

SerenityMovie.org - Where the movie site forums went to, and some of the fastest-moving forums around. Gossi managed to archive most of the posts from the old place and set up a brand spanking new one for the 77,000+ browncoats to move to.

FOX Firefly DVD site - Snazzy flash site with cast bios, show info, and downloadable wallpaper and icons. The original FOX Firefly site, with video clips and behind-the-scenes info, can still be seen here.

The Original Board - Or “OB.” The FOX Firefly site it used to live on went away, but the forums lived on and thrived.

SciFi Firefly site - The SciFi Channel picked up the existing episodes of Firefly and has been running them off and on during their regular programming, with occasional marathons. Nice little episode list with pics and sample quotes from each. And, yes, another forum :)

FireflyFans.net - The center of the Firefly fans’ universe, seems like. News updates, information, the archived original FOX site, lots of discussions and episode details, and probably the largest collection of Firefly/Serenity fan fiction anywhere.

WHEDONesque - A community blog devoted to the works of Joss Whedon. If there are news items or interviews about Firefly/Serenity, you’ll find links here.

Canadian Browncoats - If you’re in the Great White North, you need to find some browncoat friends and this is the place to do it. Very active fan community.

Big Damn Board - HUGE directory of all things browncoat.

Fashionably Brown - Trying to find that link to that item you heard about, or that paper Serenity model, or that MP3? Try here first.

SerenityVerse.com - Somewhere between a personal Firefly site, a store, and a valuable online resource, SerenityVerse.com not only lists lots of places to visit but also hosts video files and user-submitted artwork.

Podcasts

The Signal - the podcast that got us to the movie and beyond. Each episode featured news, music, interviews with cast and crew, e-mail from listeners, tips on spreading the word, and (in the beginning) Chinese lessons. Currently in hiatus, but go download ‘em and catch up, they’re worth it. My favorite bit: Adam Baldwin finding out during his interview that Serenity was in the top ten at Amazon. 

FireflyTalk - All about the ‘verse. Interviews, essays, what’s going on in Browncoat fandom, and more. Weekly, and a full hour of material.
