A great line of shirts, buttons, and whatnots from a Whedony store (the name translates to “Dead Men Don’t Bite,” which seems wrong on the face of it, doesn’t it?). Most of the Firefly stuff is a collection of the Chinese comments, expostulations, and cusses that flew around the ship regularly. The one pictured means “Hey! Shut up!” It’s one of the nicer ones…
Mortui non mordent carries lots of Buffy, Angel, and Firefly stuff and even creates designs on request.
FanDone, home of the Browncoat wristband, the Serenity tattoo, and other assorted Browncoat merchandise, is now branching out to CafePress.
Check out cafepress.com/fandone to see the new listings, and check back for more soon.
Like Joshua Horner’s cover artowkr for the Bedlam Bards’ new Firefly/Serenity-based CD, “On the Drift”?
Wear it! It’s now available on a black T-shirt from the Bards’ CafePress shop.
And check out the Bedlam Bards interview and the review of the CD.
Most Browncoat CafePress stores feature a single item or two. This makes them easy to review, easy to describe, perfect for the lazy webmaster (which would be me).
Then there are stores like 10th Crew Member’s, which has so much stuff in it I despair of reviewing it all. Dozens of designs, with seasonal ones and different subshops for every character and some of the guest stars (I love the “Naked and Articulate” one), cool postcards from around the ‘verse (”Niska’s Skyplex, ‘A Solid Reputation’”), Murphy’s Laws of Firefly, Mudder’s Milk styles, Big Damn Hero (with an arrow pointing towards the wearer), Browncoat designs, Alliance designs, TG Freight designs, Fruity Oaty Bar designs, Blue Sun designs (in different colors, even)… oh, just go look for yourself.
TCM is also the creator of BWAH!, the downloadable Firefly-inspired card game. Completely free, with lots of expansion packs and more coming.
Join the black market and get in on the ground floor! But watch where you step… Black Market Beagles features artwork by Adam Levermore-Rich, one of the best and most recognizable Browncoat artists. He’s done posters for Can’t Stop the Serenity events and Browncoat bashes, amazing artwork for QMx’s Battlestar Galactica posters (and designed their website), and his classic Little Damn Heroes series may yet become collectible marquettes.

Here’s just a few of his designs. For the rest, and for updates on his doings and upcoming projects, head to blackmarketbeagles.com and http://www.cafepress.com/blkmktbeagles.

M*A*S*H-style! KathyBrowncoat of ReadMyChest.com has a new design up for all you Browncoats who need some practical help getting around, or just like mixing your favorites.
Check it ou at her CafePress store.
“Yes, I’ve read a poem. Try not to faint.” One of the better lines from the movie, presented here in a very elegant design over a relevant passage from the poem in questions, “The Rime of the Ancient Mariner” by Samuel Taylor Coleridge.
One nice thing about this: it’s not Serenity-centric and works nicely all by itself, but flans will get it immediately. Subversive! Buy it at Pocki’s Cafepress shop.
Come one, come all to the new world! This T-shirt design is reminiscent of the posters once seen in Europe that lured settlers to the Canadian West with the promise of free land. The caption reads ”Whitefall: 200 acres free land to every settler”. Get in before the rush! Available at cafepress.com/whitefallsetler .
Also by this designer, “‘My Capt’n Went to Earth That Was and All I Got Was This Crappy T-Shirt.”
