Poplollies

Fill your cargo holds with tons of official and unofficial loot from the Poplollies Serenity Shop!

Sure, you can get the books, comics, and action figures here, but you can also get Serenity cookies, postcards from Miranda, Chinese lanterns, Joss is Boss merchandise, and (my favorite) hand-painted parasols, just perfect for keeping the sun off while you try to lure people into your Firefly class mid-bulk transport ship. Recommended.

Fan Done

Sunday, January 8th, 2006

fandone.gifFanDone.com sells a variety of original Firefly/Serenity items, plus they promote fan activities and fundraising efforts. But we’re here to talk about the stuff.

They got Can’t Take the Sky wristbands. They got Serenity necklaces. They got ‘Verse-related charms for a charm bracelet (I love the tiny hands-of-blue one). They got Christmas ornaments. They got temporary tattoos of the Serenity kanji. They’ve even got black market beagles, in season! And they got plenty more to keep you occupied. Check ‘em out!

Elegant Firefly-inspired jewelry and more. Familiar-looking leather necklaces, badge lanyards, earrings, bracelets, and I’m thinking SerenityVerse.com is a good source of “Valentine’s Day” gifts, gentlemen.

BlueSunShop: Artcat’s decals

Thursday, January 5th, 2006

artcat.jpgArtcat at BlueSunShop has crafted some fantastic car decals in the shape of the good ship Serenity. Also, for you evil-minded folks out there who don’t mind displaying the sigil of your corporate masters, the Wal-M… ahem… the Blue Sun logo.

I’ve had both on my car for six months now and they’re in great shape. They also get you odd looks from people at stoplights, and that’s all I really want from my car. BlueSunShop has different sizes available of these designs as well as the Serenity Kanji, the movie logo, “Shiny!”, and more to come. You can also make special requests.

Even the packaging reveals the care taken with these products. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Out to the Black Outfitters

Thursday, January 5th, 2006

outtotheblack.jpgMay not be the first, but certainly one of the oldest and busiest browncoat designers in the ‘verse. Shinyhappyklin, proprietess, designed the Browncoats shirt that the Serenity movie board adapted as their official one. Adam Baldwin wore one of her “Let’s Be Bad Guys” shirts during a SciFi.com interview and you can’t get cooler than that.

shk_losingside.jpgHer site, Out to the Black, has shirts, great looking bags (for your grenade needs), and artwork, plus she carries the Browncoat ribbon pins and lanyards from FireFlyGal. Out to the Black also has a CafePress shop with more browncoat designs, shirts and hats and more from the Shepherd’s Abbey and the Guild Sister’s Emporium, TV/movie quotes and a lot more. Clothing, housewares, caps, bags, prints, and more. Highly recommended.

shinyhappyklin.jpgYou can also see shinyhappyklin at conventions here and there, often in her guise of Prudence, the sister of Patience. She’s usually got stock with her and is happy to show off and chat with Browncoats. Unless she’s got her gun out, then you might want to approach with caution.
