FOX has announced the release date for the Blu-Ray edition of “Firefly”: it’s coming September 23rd, with a suggested price of $89.98. You can preorder it from Amazon for $62.95 as of this posting.

No details on contents yet, but Jewel Staite has mentioned doing more commentaries, so let’s hope for lots.

Interestingly enough, right now it’s #2 in Amazon’s TV DVD ranking (guess what number one is…)

QMx – Bringing The ‘Verse to Life”

SerenityStuff has moved to a new server. At least I hope it has - what with server speeds and DNS tables and whatnot, for the next few days it may look and react in a somewhat funky manner. But it should be good soon, and on a reliable and somewhat cheaper host :) Hey, gotta keep this boat in the sky.

After Monday or so, if you should notice any lingering problems like missing pictures or bad links, please let me know and I’ll send my mechanic right in.

You may not know Adam but if you’ve been a Browncoat for long you know his work. New at the Prop Store of London, the vest Zoe was wearing during the final battle. Note the tell-tale air conditioning slit in the back.

This fantastic costume was worn by Zoe in scenes at the end of the film when the crew are battling the Reavers, this top was used after the scene where Zoe is injured in the back. The brown leather waistcoat has a bloodied rip at the back and the lacing has been cut at the top and hangs loose.

The 2008 Can’t Stop the Serenity events are coming thick and fast. They’re up to 48 screenings in 43 Cities, in 5 countries. Most events will also have charity sales or raffles, so there’s plenty of ways to show your support.

And hey, where else will you get to see the Big Damn Movie as it’s meant to be seen: on the big screen, in a room full of Browncoats.

As mentioned previously, Adam Baldwin (with the help of the California Browncoats) is auctioning off 13 screen-worn Jayne T-shirts to benefit the Marine Corps - Law Enforcement Foundation.  Next up - the second of two “Troublemaker” shirts.

This is an extremely iconic shirt, seen multiple times in Serenity, and it’s for a great cause that is very dear to Adam Baldwin’s heart. Go place your bid and do your part! This is the final shirt auction, so time is running out.

Yep, I’m selling some stuff on eBay. First up, an Indiana Jones leather whip from LucasFilm Ltd., sent to media outlets to promote “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.” Over 9′ long, braided leather. Gimme a sec, I’ll think of a Serenity connection somewhere.

Ooh, ooh, this has a Serenity connection! This is a laser pointer thing to promote FOX’s Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, featuring Summer Glau and probably some other people. This was given out for the premiere (the date is on the side).

You point it (that’s the pointy part) and you get a Terminator head overlooking the Terminator logo. Pretty cool, actually, especially if you need to startle your neighbors or freak out everyone at a party. Not for sale anywhere. Except here, of course.
