UPDATED: Dark Horse hsa cancelled their proposed Serenity laser-etched lucite ornament. According to Dark Horse:

“The market didn’t show any significant support for the lucite ornament during the solicitation period, so we were forced to make the unfortunate decision to cancel production.”

TFAW has sent cancellations to early buyers and updated the product page.

Will Conrad has posted the last original pages from his work on “Serenity: Better Days,” the three-issue comic series from Dark Horse.

These are the original pages, on 11″ x 17″ art board, rendered in full pencils by the artist.

(Some pencillers do rough or less detailed artwork, for the inker to fill in; Conrad does complete and beautiful work.)

These are pages from #3, and like most original comic artwork you may see a detail or two that didn’t make it to the final printed work.  Check ‘em out!

More Can’t Stop the Serenity stuff!

The New England Browncoats are auctioning off this UK Serenity poster, signed by Nathan Fillion, to benefit Equality Now as part of the Boston screening.

The screenings are going on now, by the way, so be sure to check out cantstoptheserenity.com for details on upcoming events, and descriptions of all the great stuff and guest stars who have shown up already to raise money for Equality Now.

When I mentioned AbbeyShot’s proposed Jayne hoodie, I also mentioned the replica of Jayne’s tattoo that AbbeyShot commissioned from fan-favorite Browncoat artist ArtCat. Thought you might like to take a peek.

This temporary tattoo is a recreation of the one on Jayne’s arm, and you don’t even have to get drunk or hit nobody to get it, neither (Drinking and brawling not included).

SerenityStuff has moved to a new server. At least I hope it has - what with server speeds and DNS tables and whatnot, for the next few days it may look and react in a somewhat funky manner. But it should be good soon, and on a reliable and somewhat cheaper host :) Hey, gotta keep this boat in the sky.

After Monday or so, if you should notice any lingering problems like missing pictures or bad links, please let me know and I’ll send my mechanic right in.
