Also though, and I might be way off about this, but Firefly always seemed a little grainy, even on DVD. I mean, beautiful lighting and what not, but grainy, like they were using not very high quality digital cameras to shoot it or something. Will it even transfer to hi-def well? This would excite me if I weren’t boycotting Sony.

Is this just a repackaging of the DVD format, or do we get actual HD quality? If it's the latter, that alone would sell me on investing in a Blu-Ray player.
