Absolutely. The Stargate people are all in love with Firefly/Serenity and have said so on DVD commentaries. Since the show was cancelled, they’ve hired Adam Baldwin, Morena Baccarin, and Jewel Staite. Rumor has it that Ben Browder kept asking Morena to introduce him to Nathan Fillion. (::snerk:: Such a fanboy. :-D )

Also, I was listening to the podcast commentaries on the first season of Eureka, and they mentioned a few times how much the staff and cast love Buffy. And at least some of the Farscape people liked it from pretty early on, because it got a mention in the very first episode.

It always gives me a little thrill to know that the hard work done by actors, writers, and other staff I have loved for years are appreciated by the people in the entertainment industry.
