Jane Espenson coming to SerenityStuff Oct. 24

book_serenityfound.jpgRemember I mentioned a surprise?

Jane Espenson, writer of wonderful Buffy and Angel and Firefly episodes, just announced her blog tour to promote her new collection of essays, "Serenity Found." And we're one of the stops! I hope I have enough snacks for everybody…

Come back by on Wednesday, Oct. 24, when I'll be asking her about the book and some general Whedonness. And I'll be announcing the winner of the signed copy of "Serenity Found" the same day. Remember, to enter the contest all you have to do is sign up for the BenBella Books newsletter by e-mailing to newsletter@benbellabooks.com. More details here.

And if you haven't seen "Serenity Found" yet, go get it! It's crammed full of fun, fact-filled, fantastic essays from cast, crew, and admirers of the 'verse. You can get an essay-by-essay rundown in my review. You can find it at Amazon, BenBella Books, or your local bookstore.

While not wholly as good as "Finding Serenity", in my opinion, it is still definitely worth the price of admission just to read 'I, Malcolm' written by Nathan Fillion himself.

Buy it, read it, feed your obsession! :D

And if you haven't read "Finding Serenity", go buy that too!

I am in the middle of my copy of Serenity Found and I absolutely love it. I think I might like it better than Finding Serenity because the essays go very deep and take a leap places that I never thought of.

Nathan's essay brought tears to my eyes because he wrote it as I would have-with mucho love.

Much thanks to Jane. She continues to be an ispiration to me!
