Regarding the posters going back to the printers — are they (the revised ones) going to be printed with a little bit of digital ‘grunge’ on them?

I don’t wanna freak you guys out, but some people might prefer receiving ‘clean’ posters to digitally weathered ones (me, for example). That way, people who want a ‘dirty’ poster can DIY, and the rest will still be happy.

They remind me of some of the old WPA & travel posters from the 30’s-40’s, which I’m sure they’re meant to. Nice job. Applause and kudos to the artist(s).

… I’ve already pre-ordered mine through TFAW, for what it’s worth… Saw the description there noting that they will be shipped rolled. ;)

And there will be more than 300, this is a limited pre-release run just for the Comic Con. They won’t be officially announced for sale for another month or so.

300 is way too small a print run! Didn’t the Serenity blueprints sell way more? Will you reserve some for sale after the conference? I’d be surprised if you didn’t sell all 300 right there and then, otherwise.

On spelling: Joss has said it was indeed Londinium (see the “Pre-production memo” on pages 12-15 of the Serenity Visual Companion book). Yet ‘Londinum’ seems to have become common spelling among Browncoats: it’s used throughout the Role-Playing Game book, and in all the maps I’ve seen (including the one on page 12 of the Serenity Visual Companion!)

If Mal said it, doesn’t that trump what they intended? We could pretend Mal mispronounced it, or just accept it as Nathan Fillion’s contribution. I find the latter more satisfying, because not all of us are privy to background material.

I agree with everyone else. I’ve started becoming a little more selective on what Firefly/Serenity stuff I buy because my house is starting to look like Joss Whendon threw up in there, but I’ll definitely be getting these!
