Firefly Companion Vol. 2 shipping soon
Saturday, April 21st, 2007
According to Whedonesque, Titan Books is shipping the second Firefly Companion and you should start seeing them at Amazon and other bookstores soon.
The book “has now started shipping from our US distributors, and will be hitting our UK warehouse next week, so Amazon orders should be with people shortly, and the book will be in bookstores in the next couple of weeks”.
Some comics shops got it faster than that, but now the rest of us will get to grab a copy.
32 pages bigger than the first book, the second Companion will have the rest of the original shooting scripts (which are not the same as the Firefly scripts available in many places online), interviews with cast, crew, and Whedon, screen shots, behind-the-scenes pictures, and close-up shots of props (including Vera!) and even a section on the fandom. The first Firefly Companion was just what we were hoping for, and this looks to be more of the same.
Order it at Amazon US, Amazon Canada, or Amazon UK. And don’t forget to get Firefly Companion Vol. 1 and Titan’s excellent Serenity Companion.

I foresee that location becoming our new town hall (with the current owner’s consent, of course).
People who ordered the blueprints from QMx Sunday are already reporting receiving them (and raving about them). Did you get yours? What did you think?
I know, I know. Browncoats have a rep for being rough, tough, and able to handle anything, often with gunplay. But what about the softer side? What about the feminine side? What about the Browncoats who are tired of T-shirts that fit like tents?
It’s good to see that the Maidenhead Bar is conscious of the ecology. Also, when they leave bottles around, 90lb girls kick them into other peoples’ faces, which is bad for business. Either way, they need those bottles gone. And The Prop Store of London is helping by
