More hootch

prop_roundbarbottle.jpgNow here’s an interesting looking one. If you were at the Maidenhead Bar and you saw this ominous fellow on the shelf, would you order a shot?

The latest in The Prop Store of London’s botle offerings, this one is dark, round, and has a funky-looking label that looks somewhat communist, which is a provocative thought. We heard about the Chinese culture surviving into the future. Did their political system survive as well? Can anyone offer translations? About the only thng I could discern was that it was 80 proof.

Looks like somebody had a little fun with that.

The bottle says “Hendricks” near the top. The label has the seal of the Soviet Union, and says “Red Army.”

  2. Mike Says:

Ok, a little research with Google shows that’s a Hendricks Gin bottle.

The Prop Store is really milking that maidenhead scene it seems… imagine all those bottles…

Yeah, they’re going to have a lot of bottles to sell. But at least they aren’t super-expensive, and a lot of Browncoats will be able to get a piece of the film.

I’ve been dying to get something small from the Prop Store, but shipping from the UK is pretty expensive.

Sorry, but $139 is a tad too expensive for a dinky bottle that you probably can’t pick out in the move, and that I could probably make a replica of myself for under $30 (and still get some gin too).
