Mal Nouveau

art_nouveaumal.jpgSaw this on display at Oasis 19 in Orlando last weekend and looked up the artist’s website when I got home (see? the pamphlets work!). Paula Tabor is a fan artist who does fantasy images, portraits of movie and TV stars, caricatures, henna designs, and even her own comic book.

But my eye was on Mal, and who can blame me. Prints of Mal Nouveau are available from her site, slushgem.com, along with plenty more great images (and a River/Simon pic).

    Ha, that is very cool, it looks like something from an Egyptian temple, with hieroglyphics on the sides. Well, I guess I make a connection between the hardware and the egyptology in MY mind.

    Oh syncretic cultures… how I miss our kind and tender Anglo-Sino Alliance!
