Inkworks has updated their Firefly cards page with new pictures of the case loader “Outlaws” card, one of the 6 “Battle of Serenity” cards, and the “Firefly Forever” limited edition uncut sheets (pictured). Cool funkiness!

Current best guess as to release date is May 17, according to Inkworks, ”to spread out the upcoming Inkworks products.” Also, check back for an announcement about the Firefly promo cards I’ve been giving out. They’re about to get a lot more frequent, and there’s more free stuff coming.

Wait, that wasn’t what I meant. I meant you can get a throw from Inara’s room or buy one of the Maidenhead bar girl costumes from The Prop Store of London.

New from The Prop Store of London - a set of three books from Inara’s room (two leather-bound blank ones, one Chinese book) and the Operative’s Alliance uniform from the space battle scene. Yowza!

The Prop Store of London has added River’s dress from the last scene, a female Reaver costume — there were female Reavers? How could you tell? — and a toy dinosaur signed by Alan Tudyk.

The Prop Store of London is still going strong. Now they’ve added a Chinese book from Inara’s room, a protoype message reader (with production concept artwork included), Inara’s red dress from the deleted scene, and (biggest of all) Jayne’s complete costume from the final fight scene.

It comes with (deep breath): an orange t-shirt with a black Japanese fish design on the front, a pair of green combat pants, dark blue underwear (please note, slashers), a leather wrist band, a black leather belt/rig with several black leather pouches, a brown leather sheath with a hard rubber prop knife in it, and the shoulder strap has a holster for the black hard rubber prop MP5 Kurtz. There is also a green canvas magazine bandolier holding several black plastic magazines with dummy bullets attached to the tops and a hard rubber prop MP5 SD6 with a black canvas strap. Save your pennies, kids!

Fellow Serenity stuff lovers, you gotta have this one. There’s a Firefly press kit on eBay.

Sent out to FOX affilaites to promote the show — back when they were, you know, promoting the show — this funky box is loaded with collectible stuff. Besides the box itself, which is labeled with Serenity shipping labels and warning signs, you also get a leather folio with “Firefly” and “FOX” on it containing a boarding pass onto Serenity and a clip-on badge with Malcolm Reynolds’ registration info, and a document case containing a welcome letter from Mal, blueprints to the set’s design for Serenity, a flask, a food ration, a VHS tape of the pilot episode, and assorted PR documents about the show.

Plenty of pics of everything are available, you should check it out just to see what FOX can do when they still care.

Coming soon from Titan Books, the Official Firefly Companion. Now listed at Amazon with a September 30 release date for the US and a June 23 release date for the UK, although neither of those have been confirmed. The description from the UK site includes:

“This official companion is just what the show’s fervent fans, the ‘Browncoats’, have been waiting for, with unseen photos, scripts, behind the scenes secrets, and exclusive input from the cast and crew, including of course creator Joss Whedon.”

The intriquing part for me? It’s labeled “Volume One.”

They’ve been threatening for months, but BigDamnSite.net launched a funky redesign that nicely showcases their designs, including this Southparky version of a naked Mal.

Pretty much anything, if you wait long enough, now that Blue Moon Stuff has added a sale page.
