Pre-order The Firefly Companion
Coming soon from Titan Books, the Official Firefly Companion. Now listed at Amazon with a September 30 release date for the US and a June 23 release date for the UK, although neither of those have been confirmed. The description from the UK site includes:
“This official companion is just what the show’s fervent fans, the ‘Browncoats’, have been waiting for, with unseen photos, scripts, behind the scenes secrets, and exclusive input from the cast and crew, including of course creator Joss Whedon.”
The intriquing part for me? It’s labeled “Volume One.”
Preorder it at Amazon and get $7 off the cover price, or order it from Amazon.co.uk and save £5.78.

Sweet! Sign me up for one! …that is, as soon as I can scrape together enough coin to pay for one.

Volume One… verrrrry interesting! Maybe they weren’t able to cover the entire series in one Volume or… they’re hoping for a second season as much as we are! =X

The commentaries on the DVD set were not enough for me. I can’t wait for this to come out. Thanks for having this site! Makes it soo much easier to keep up with all the new stuff. Off to check the pre-order site…

If we’re in the US can we order one through amazon.com/uk? I want to get it as early as possible. Thanks for posting about this!

Since we Europeans can order from Amazon.com I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to do the same from Amazon.co.uk
I’m hoping to get one from a local retailer, though…

Just to let you know I have tried to order this from amazon.co.uk and had preordered i, was eagerly awaiting its arrival at the end of July but it has been pushed back to mid September which is frustrating. Vol 2 should be out in the uk March next year, not gonna preorder that just yet, seems excessive!

I preordered Volume 1 in April and am eagerly awaiting its arrival. It seems that they’ve pushed up the release date in the US and it should be available in the first week of September rather than at the end of the month.
